EnglandxReader - The Stars Look Beautiful Tonight
A bright red double-decker bus rumbled down the dull London streets, the sidewalks cluttered with umbrellas of all shapes and sizes and patterns shuffling to and fro. On the double-decker bus sat a young man in a suit and a black umbrella and a bouquet of flowers in his lap, his green eyes fluttering restlessly about, landing on one thing then zipping to something else, whether it was a street sign outside the rain-streaked windows or another person

With weary bags under her eyes, Amelia anxiously awaited by the bedside in the sterile hospital room. Helplessly she clutched the hand of the bed's occupant, her husband. They have had to go to the hospital a couple of times in the past, but it seemed far worse this time and she was quite worried now. The two were alone, their children and grandchildren having left already and the only noises to break the eerie silence were the steady beeping of the machines and Delbert's own haggard breathing.
The click of a door handle turning behind Mrs. Doppler interrupted the sterile sounds of the room. Facing the door, she saw the slouching form of a

You sat in a chair with your elbows propped up on the armrests. In your hands was the newspaper opened halfway through. After reading about the fifth story based on world struggles, you closed the paper, folding it up, and placed it on the coffee table in front of you. Even though it was a coffee table, there wasn't a cup of coffee in sight. All that was seen were two cups of darjeeling tea, both black. You carefully picked up your cup and took a brief sip, returning the cup to its saucer when you were finished.
"Arthur." You said, breaking the long moment of silence that started to drag. "How much lon

"I give up! You aren't getting any younger. What are you waiting for? No white knight is going to come along and sweep you off your feet." Hungary was frustrated with you again. You kept turning guys down and she was tired of being the only girl dating out of your group of friends.
"Well I'm not waiting for France, who backs me up into the ancient history shelf every time he comes into the library."
"Oh! He does!! Oh my God! I never knew working at a library could be so hazardous!" Hungary gasped at this little bit of gossip.
"All I want is a plain man, a modest man, a quiet man. A strait forward and honest man. And NOT Turkey, with that

You sit on the roof to your home, watching the stars that are beginning to dot the evening sky. It is supposed to snow tonight, but the skies are so clear that you highly doubted it.
Sunset is coming soon. You can already see the sun itching to leave the western horizon from your spot, and you stand as the fresh wind winds itself around you. Your (color) hair dances with it, and you have to hold it back before it blinds you. You simply watch the sun until the sky is tinted pink with hints of fading blue.
You've been out here for about an hour now. You like sitting out here; it helps clear your mind from worries, and you're patrolling the cl
